What is IOT Data Hackathon 2025?

Organized by GS1 Hong Kong in partnership with HKSTP and Cyberport, the IOT Data Hackathon 2025 is set to take place on March 22-23, 2025, accompanied by a series of pre-hackathon activities running from January to March 2025. As IOT technology continues to evolve rapidly, the ability to effectively utilize data has become more critical than ever. This Hackathon challenges participants to unlock the potential of IOT and alternative data to develop groundbreaking solutions under two main Challenge Themes:

• Smart Business: Design intelligent solutions that help businesses tackle urgent challenges, boost efficiency, and enhance customer experiences by integrating Open API.
• Smart Living: Create innovative solutions that address modern living needs, improve quality of life, and support sustainability initiatives.

Participants will access cutting-edge technology and diverse datasets to uncover insights, identify trends, and drive meaningful outcomes, particularly by leveraging the capabilities of the FabriXAPI platform in their solutions.
